Designer Tip: Fall Lighting

With summer's long days, lamps and accent/task lighting aren't needed as much. Although, as fall rolls around, the added light fixtures don't just look good, they add that cozy, warm glow plus the necessary light. I like to use lots of options for lighting in my client's spaces. Fall is the perfect time to put these accent pieces to life. If you don't have enough lighting, adding the soft glow will help your home feel warmer for the cooler season ahead.

Floor lamps, tables lamps and task lamps should be found all around a space for multiples uses and lighting control. Plus, aren't these lamps cute? The chair and lamp are also mirrored opposite the entertainment center in this remodel.

Here at a North Salt Lake new build, I used a great lamp (a personal favorite) by the corner fireplace chair in addition to two sofa table lamps along with another task lamp (not visible in the image).

Warm up your space with lighting!
