Private Residence Dining Area Spruce Up
This client has been working on improving rooms in her home over the past several years. We've enjoyed helping with her Master Bedroom, Daughter's Nursery (and a later big girl room upgrade!), Boy's bedroom, Living Room, Family Room, and Bathroom. Its been fun over the years to make improvements on the spaces and watch the family grow. The dining room has gotten a few touches over the years such as window treatments and some accessories, but now its time for some bigger changes. Because the room is integrated into the kitchen and visible from both the living room and family room, the scheme needed to coordinate with the other areas.
The plan was simple. We will be adding a bench seat into the bay window and the tables dimensions allow it to turn and run either parallel and use the bench seat on the long side or perpendicular and use it as the "captains chair".
The seat will be covered in a chocolate brown nanotex (great for kiddos) fabric by Joseph Noble. The pillows in reds and greens will add some color (the client loves color) but so will the very cute guacamole green chairs. The greek green fabric from Duralee is so fresh and fun. Lighting is often forgotten and the fresh and simple light will keep the design looking new.
The plates were added to the kitchen a couple of years ago and are great with the updated design scheme.
These chairs come in several other cute colors and are $149. Super cute and fun. Which color is your favorite? I'm liking the Navy...or maybe...
